What’s Your Role at The Carers Centre?

I am a Trustee.

How did you get involved with The Carers Centre?

I am a full time Carer for my wife Janet who has been disabled since 2010.

At a very low point I contacted the Carers Centre for help. They gave me help and support which was invaluable. To this day I use so much of what I learnt in the sessions I attended to help with my role as a Carer.

What do you do for The Carers Centre?

I worked for many years in the Logistics industry both in an operational and commercial capacity. For the last ten years prior to my retirement I ran my own successful consultancy business in the same sector. Hopefully this has given me a perspective of the Commercial world which is useful to the Carers Centre.
