We are looking for a part time ‘Carer Wellbeing Worker’ to join our small, friendly team. This post will be mainly delivering project work in North Leicestershire however one day a week would be spent in our offices in Leicester City Centre.

Do you have a good understanding about how unpaid caring affects carers lives?

Do you enjoy working creatively using your arts and communication skills to support people in need?

Do you have experience of providing care for a loved one, or know through your professional life how valuable carers are, and how difficult a role it can be?

Have you got a background in health, social care, education or the voluntary sector?

We are looking for someone who understands the wide range of issues that unpaid carers face and has experience of the following:

• Working with people on a one-to-one and group basis
• Knowledge of services that can support carers
• Skills in providing advice, information support and/or training
